120710 Day 2.
Woke up quite early...as the sun rises darn early....But it was a rainy day..depressing day
Checked out from the hotel...heading to Bie, a small town with rich agriculture activities.
Nothing much to see actually in this small town...just potatoes, wheat and corn.
Actually this town is famous because it appears in a lot of advertisements. Paul-san told us about the history of some trees that we are going see later.
First: The Kent and Mary tree... famous for the advertisement of the 1st nissan skyline
Second: Lucky 5 star tree due to a cigarette advertisement
Third: Oyako tree...two tree were link together, one is smaller therefore it looks li
ke parents with a kid.
Enough of trees....we stop at the stalls nearby and tried the local corn. I had la
vender soft ice cream...the taste...not so bad, i actually liked it~

After this stop...we head to Furano for the highlight of this trip LAVENDER...but the sky is still raining...We arrive in a place called Farm Tomita...I think till here i dun need to describe...Enjoy the pictures~

The lavender were wonderful...of course i bought a lot of lavender products too...
After that, we head to Yubari...a town famous for Yubari Melon...
Spend my night in Yubari Mount Racey Hotel.
That night i think i had a whole melon for myself....The manager told me that local Japanese actually came to spend a night here just to eat the melon as much as they can...as to buy a melon its very expensive...
How to end a long tired day?
